    Hello POG--I had a great time in Pittsburgh and definitely would come again. I ran as a street medic. I disagree with your estimates of attendance. I think there were closer to 10,000 at the march on Saturday, based on the number of blocks it covered. The medic I was running with who has been at a lost of demos as well, also felt it was 10,000; but we both agreed with the 5,000 figure for Sunday.... overall it was awesome and POG should be very proud! Did mention the food was awesome, too? Solidarity and rage

    I came in from Columbus to attend this convergence. I would definitely be interested in attending other events in Pitts in the future. I had a great time and met a lot of really cool people. The general mood was that of solidarity and a respect and understanding for a diversity of tactics. It was a really positive experience.I enjoyed the direct action training from the Ruckus Society thoroughly, as well as the breakoff march on Sunday. I was also really surprised at the civil conduct of the police. They did a wonderful job last weekend. My least favorite part was the speakers before the march. I understand, of course, that not all people against the war agree on the same things, and I think it was a fair representation of the diversity of the attitudes present. It would be cool to see more people organized to do more direct action next time. I realize this is the first time you guys have done anything like this, and it's a great start. And of course the people involved (not just the organizers) are responsible for creating the actions, and I think everyone learned a little bit and will come back stronger.

    Dear POG members, This was a wonderful experience for me, being a part of your march and rally. It was definitely worth the snowy drive down from Conneaut Lake, PA. My favorite thing about it was the wide variety of groups sponsoring it and participating in this event. I appreciated being welcomed despite age (50's) and personal beliefs. It seemed well organized and I think you all are to be commended!
